Self-Service Lockers
The Self-Service Lockers located in the lobbies at each SCPL branch are fun and easy to use.
To Use the Self-Service Lockers:
- Patrons must have a valid library card with the Seminole County Public Library.
- Log on to the library’s website from any computer to access the online catalog.
- Select materials and choose “Place a Hold on This Item” and enter library card number and PIN
- Using the dropdown menu, choose the lockers at your preferred Branch as the pickup location.
- You will be notified by email or telephone as soon as the material has arrived at the locker.
- The items will be held for 7 days after the date on the notice.
How the Lockers Work:
- Scan your library card or enter your library card number using the key pad.
- Enter your PIN number, usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Follow the directions on the screen.
- The locker with your items will open.
- The items in the locker are checked out to your library account.
- A receipt will be printed with your date due information.
- Call to contact the staff, if you need assistance.
