Self-Service Lockers

The Self-Service Lockers located in the lobbies at each SCPL branch are fun and easy to use.

To Use the Self-Service Lockers:

  • Patrons must have a valid library card with the Seminole County Public Library.
  • Log on to the library’s website from any computer to access the online catalog.
  • Select materials and choose “Place a Hold on This Item” and enter library card number and PIN
  • Using the dropdown menu, choose the lockers at your preferred Branch as the pickup location.
  • You will be notified by email or telephone as soon as the material has arrived at the locker.
  • The items will be held for 7 days after the date on the notice.

How the Lockers Work:

  • Scan your library card or enter your library card number using the key pad.
  • Enter your PIN number, usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  • Follow the directions on the screen.
  • The locker with your items will open.
  • The items in the locker are checked out to your library account.
  • A receipt will be printed with your date due information.
  • Call to contact the staff, if you need assistance.
